The 2023 Nova Festival (October 3 – 24) celebrates contemporary comic arts in Pančevo, Serbia. This year, the theme is reflections on the painting called The Island of Love by the celebrated Serbian painter Nadežda Petrović. The event marks 150 years from her birth and is included in the UNESCO 2023 calendar of cultural and art events. The Festival also exhibits works by artists participating in the cultural exchange and cross-residences by Serbia and France in Angoulême and Pančevo.
